Our enhanced access to electronic resources will continue to be available through other IUPUI campus computers. Directions to the Medical Library from I-65 (north & south):

  • Take the West Street/Martin Luther King exit off I-65.
  • At the 11th street intersection (11th Street becomes 10th Street), turn right (west) and head for University Boulevard. 
    Turn left (south) at University Boulevard; there is a Papa John's Pizza at this intersection. 
  • Proceed down University Boulevard to West Walnut Street and turn right (west). One parking garage is on the left side after you turn on West Walnut Street.  If you park in the parking garage that is to the right after you turn on West Walnut Street, the first entrance is for employees only, and the second entrance is the public entrance.
  • The Medical Library is inside the Medical Research building which is the 6 glass towers on the left (south) side of Walnut drive. 

Directions to the Medical Library from I-70 (east & west):

  • Exit the interstate at exit 79A
  • Head North through downtown to Michigan Street
  • Turn left (west) at Michigan Street
  • At University Boulevard, turn right (north).
  • Drive past University Hospital and turn left at West Walnut Street (under the People Mover, the monorail overhead).  One parking garage is on the left side after you turn on West Walnut Street.  If you park in the parking garage that is to the right after you turn on West Walnut Street, the first entrance is for employees only, and the second entrance is the public entrance.
  • The Medical Library is inside the Medical Research building which is the 6 glass towers on the left (south) side of Walnut street.

  • From New York or Michigan street, drive North on University Boulevard
